1. Use it at night, on clean dry skin, before anything heavier.
2. Three to four drops is enough for the whole face.
3. Press it in with your fingertips rather than rubbing it around.
4. Wait a minute, then follow with a moisturiser.
5. Sunscreen every morning, without exception.
6. Keep the bottle out of direct light and finish it within about three months of opening.

Does L-glutathione whiten skin?

On the surface, modestly at best. Glutathione is a water-loving tripeptide and it does not cross the outer skin layer easily, so a topical version delivers far less than the studies people quote. Most of those studies used tablets or drips. Expect a small evening of tone over months, not a shade change. The wider evidence on glutathione and pigment is worth reading.

Can L-glutathione whiten skin if you take it orally or by injection?

Please be careful here. Oral glutathione has limited, short-term evidence. Intravenous glutathione for whitening has none that regulators accept, and the Philippine FDA among others has warned against it after serious reactions were reported. There is no approved injectable whitening product. A topical ampoule carries none of that risk, which is rather the point.

Where does the glutathione actually sit in this formula?

Second from last, above only the preservatives. That is normal, because glutathione is unstable and used at low levels, but it does mean the name on the box is not the ingredient doing the most work. How long does 5ml last?

Roughly a month at three to four drops a night. Ampoules are deliberately small because the actives in them degrade once the bottle is opened, so a 5ml you finish beats a 30ml you half-use. Keep the cap tight and store it away from the bathroom window.

Can I use it with a cream or a retinol?

With a cream, yes. Apply this first and the cream over it. With retinol, alternate nights rather than layering, at least until you know how your skin takes both. Do not stack this with an exfoliating acid on the same night. The rest of the ampoule line is built to be rotated, not combined.

Will it work on old dark spots?

Partly, and slowly. Fresh marks from spots or shaving respond better than old sun damage, which sits deeper. Anything that has been there for years usually needs a stronger route than a cosmetic ampoule. Give it three months with daily sunscreen before deciding, because without sunscreen you refill the marks as fast as you fade them.

Is it right for oily or acne-prone skin?

Be cautious. White oil, castor oil and isopropyl myristate are all in here for texture, and isopropyl myristate has a reputation for blocking pores. If you break out easily, the ampoule built around hydration is the lighter option in this range. Patch it along your jaw for a week before you commit.

What should I expect, and when?

Very little in the first fortnight. Skin looks smoother early on because of the hyaluronic acid, which is a water effect rather than a tone one. Any real change in tone takes two to three months of nightly use. If nothing has shifted by then, this formula is not the one for you, and that is worth knowing early.
