What Happens to Your Parcel at Indian Customs

An order from this site arrives in India as an imported parcel, and imported cosmetics can attract customs duty. On Face Fresh orders we pay that duty in full. You are not asked for money at the door, and there is no second payment after checkout.

Two things are worth knowing about the timing.

A parcel crosses two systems. It leaves our warehouse in the UAE and is handed to Indian customs on arrival. Two to four working days covers both halves for most orders.

Inspection is routine, not a problem. Customs can open a parcel to check the contents. On cosmetics that happens regularly and it does not mean anything has gone wrong. It does add a day or two.

What we cannot promise

We can promise the duty, because we are the ones paying it. We cannot promise a date. A parcel pulled for inspection sits longer than the window above, and no courier can override that.

Your jar also travels for several days, part of that in heat. A cream can reach you softer than you expected. That is the texture responding to temperature rather than a spoiled product — leave it at room temperature for an hour before judging it.

On results: nothing here alters your natural colouring, and nothing here is a medicine. Four to six weeks of nightly use is the point at which most people first see flat brown marks looking lighter. Pigmentation that appeared suddenly, is spreading, or has not shifted at all after two months should be looked at by a doctor.

Everything is charged in US dollars. Indian cards sometimes refuse international payments, and when that happens it is the bank rather than your order. You pay PayPal directly, so no card details ever come to us.

Who sells Face Fresh in India?

This site, and nobody else online. We have not authorised a distributor, a reseller or any marketplace seller in India. Orders placed here are packed from brand stock and posted to your address, so the jar you open is the one that left our warehouse.

Will I have to pay customs duty when the parcel arrives?

No. We pay the customs duty on Indian orders in full. What you pay at checkout is the whole cost, and nobody should ask you for money when the parcel is delivered. If anyone does, contact us before paying.

What does delivery to India cost, and when is it free?

Delivery is $35 per parcel, and it becomes free once the order value passes $99. Working days do not include Sundays, public holidays or the day you place the order.

My Indian bank card was declined. How else can I pay?

Indian cards often block international payments, and that is set by your bank rather than by us. Put your items in the cart, then message +971 56 842 8933 on WhatsApp or write to care@facefresh.com, and we will send a PayPal payment link you can use instead.

Which Face Fresh serum should someone in India start with?

One only, to begin with. The vitamin C ampoule suits skin that looks tired and flat. The glutathione ampoule is the slower choice for uneven tone. The anti-acne ampoule is the one to pick if breakouts are the main complaint. Adding all three at once tells you nothing about which is working.

Do larger orders include anything extra?

Yes. Orders above $200 go out with additional products in the box. What is included depends on what is in stock at the time, and it is added by us rather than chosen at checkout.
